Armor Lux

With a history stretching back to 1938, Armor-Lux is known for its nautical themed clothing. While their timing wasn't great, setting up just before the outbreak of World War II, they were soon back on track when materials became more available in 1945. The Breton stripes that adorn much of Armor-Lux's clothing was initially introduced by French Law in 1858 to help locate overboard sailors, they have since been translated into a rather cooler setting by the likes of James Dean. Armor-Lux is a company with values and their HQ remains in the small town of Quimper, making them one of the only remaining Breton manufacturers to still be based in Brittany.
