The C2 Vest was introduced by the USAAF in 1942. It was meant as an additional layer underneath the leather flight jackets. The following details characterize our C2 Vest: - outer layer made of polished satin cloth with a 3 layer wax coating (100% cotton) - Lining: 100% wool - original 1940s Talon zipper with “left opening”
