Raw or one wash?
Raw denim has never been washed. It starts stiff, shrinks after the first wash and develops fades that are completely yours. One wash denim has been washed once after weaving: softer from the start, with the shrinkage already done. Sanforized denim shrinks about 3%, unsanforized denim up to 10%. How to wash Japanese denim
